Darling Wildlife Area

Darling Wildlife Area is located along the shoreline of the Otonabee River. The diversity of plants and wildlife on the property make it an ideal destination for variety of outdoor recreation activities. Visitors to the property will enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hunting.

Outdoor Adventure

Hiking

Darling Wildlife Area offers visitors natural scenic views, which make the property an ideal destination for hiking and nature viewing. The property has a diverse range of habitats and ecosystems to explore.

Camping

Overnight camping is not allowed at Darling Wildlife Area.

Fires are not permitted.

Hunting

Hunting at Darling Wildlife Area is restricted to waterfowl, game birds, small game, and white-tailed deer.

A valid permit is required to hunt on select Otonabee Conservation lands.
