Gannon’s Narrows Conservation Area

Gannon’s Narrows Conservation Area is located north of Ennismore where Pigeon and Buckhorn Lakes connect. This Conservation Area offers hiking trails and fishing opportunities. A roadside parking area and trailhead signage can be found at the entrance to the property, along with privy-style washrooms.

Outdoor Adventure

Explore the great outdoors at Gannon’s Narrows Conservation Area, situated just north of Ennismore. Go on exciting hikes and try your luck at fishing in this beautiful natural spot. When you arrive, you'll see a parking area by the road and signs that mark the start of the trails. It's a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of nature!

Overnight camping is not allowed at Gannon’s Narrows Conservation Area.

Fires are not permitted.

Gannon’s Narrows Conservation Area has approximately 1.3 km of hiking trails that pass by a large pond surrounded by open marsh, upland hardwood forest, thicket, cedar woods, and cedar swamp. Catch the spectacular view of the Gannon’s Narrows where Pigeon and Buckhorn Lakes connect by traveling the shoreline trail along the north edge of the property.

Cast a line from the shoreline of Gannon’s Narrows Conservation Area into the water where Pigeon and Buckhorn Lakes connect. Catch various fish including Bass, Crappie, Muskie, Perch, and Walleye right from shore.
