Explore the Trails of Peterborough County and City

Trails offer a wonderful way to explore nature through the urban and rural landscapes of Peterborough County and City. Communities throughout the region invite residents – their families and friends – to walk, hike, run, or cycle the trails throughout the region.

Event organizers are working hard to bring you, your family and friends a trails day festival program that offers fun, exploration and discovery!

Festival Kick Off – “Geocaching Activity”

Scavenger Hunt, Geocache activity, Bonfire and Refreshments

Meet at the Rotary Greenway Trail intersection of Hunter Street East
Grab your bike or comfortable shoes, and hit the Rotary Greenway Trail! Pick up a map of Peterborough’s multi-use trails and we’ll help you plan a trip with scenic views, ice cream or ale. Win prizes at the Multi-use Trail Trivia/Test your knowledge of proper trail etiquette, rules and safety when using the trail. Let us know your favorite adventurers as a user of Peterborough’s trails in the city.
