CONSERVATION LANDS PROGRAM – PUBLIC NOTICE:

Public Consultation Period respecting the Conservation Area Management Statement for the Birdsall Wildlife Area.

Purpose

The Otonabee Region Conservation Authority is embarking upon a program to develop management statements for its properties. This Conservation Area Management Statement describes the long-term ownership objectives of the Authority for the Birdsall Wildlife Area and sets out the broad management policies and stewardship activities for the property.

 Public Consultation Period:   February 20, 2017 to April 05, 2017.

This proposal is posted for a 45 day public review and comment period starting February 20, 2017. If you have any questions, or would like to submit your comments, please do so by April 05, 2017 to the individual listed under “Contact”. All comments received on or before April 05, 2017 will be considered as part of the decision-making process by the Conservation Authority if they are submitted in writing or electronically.

All comments and submissions received will become part of the public record. Your personal information may be used in the decision making process on this proposal and it may be used to contact you if clarification of your comment is required.
