It can be disturbing to hear, from time to time, about excessive administrative and fundraising expenses of some Canadian charities.

The Otonabee Region Conservation Foundation (ORCF) respects your privacy. We protect your personal information and adhere to all legislative requirements with respect to privacy. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists. We use your personal information to keep you informed and up to date on the activities of the ORCF, including programs, services and special events, funding needs, opportunities to volunteer or to make a donation, open houses and more through periodic contacts from the ORCF. If at any time you wish to be removed from any of these contacts simply contact us by phone at 705-745-5791, ext. 224 or via email at kreid@otonabee.com and we will gladly accomodate your request.

Our accountant reviewed financial statements and the minutes of our Board meetings are available upon request.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulates registered charities under the Income Tax Act and is committed to providing donors with relevant information. The CRA collects information from charities each year and posts it on its website for the public to access ( www.cra-arc.gc.ca, select Charities).

Donating to environmental organizations is more important than ever before.
