FEES SCHEDULE

Environmental Reports and Stormwater Management Review

Effective June 1, 2010

From time to time it may be necessary for the development proponent to present supporting technical documentation for various development activities to Otonabee Conservation. The documents may take the form of: floodplain hydrology analysis, hydrogeology reports, terrain analysis, aquatic habitat analysis, Environmental Impact Studies or geotechnical reports. Otonabee Conservation will review the document as a component of the application approval process.

Review of Supporting Environmental Reports

Environmental reports forwarded to the Conservation Authority for review must be accompanied by the associated fee, payable to Otonabee Conservation.

BRIEF - one to two page reports - $175

STANDARD - small to medium scale developments - $350

MAJOR - plans of subdivision/major developments - $875

Stormwater Management Reports

Subdivisions/Low-rise Condominiums - $120.00 per lot for the first 10 lots; $60.00 per lot thereafter

Condominiums (Mid- and High-rise) - $60.00 per unit for the first 10 units; $30.00 per unit thereafter

Revisions - review of revisions not requested by Otonabee Conservation
75% of original fee

Incomplete Submissions - submissions deemed incomplete as per Otonabee Conservation guidelines - an additional 10% of original review fee

Minor Developments - stormwater management plans for sites less than or equal to one hectare - $215.00

Major Developments - stormwater management plans for sites greater than 1 hectare - $300.00 per hectare

 

Please be advised that further information and studies may required by the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority in order to process a permit application, the costs of which will be borne by the applicant or their agent. This information may include details related to wetlands, floodplains, hydraulics, slope stability or stream systems. Once completed, all studies become the property of the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority and the information may be used by the Conservation Authority and its member municipalities.

In order for members of the public to view any studies, plans and reports related to your permit, a formal request under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSO 1990, c.M.56) is required. Access is subject to statutory exemptions. The same is true should you wish to access any studies, plans and reports pertaining to others' permits.

Insufficient information may delay the processing of your permit application.
