A Message from...
John Good, President of the Otonabee Region Conservation Foundation.

BECOME A CONSERVATION SUPPORTER

Greetings... My name is John Good. I have been a strong supporter of conservation for many years. Currently, I am the municipal representative for the Township of Douro-Dummer on the Board of Directors of the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority. I am also actively involved with the Otonabee Conservation Foundation serving as
President of the Foundation Board.

As you read through this message, I encourage you to think about becoming a Conservation Supporter of the Otonabee Conservation Foundation. I have been a Conservation Supporter for many years and I appreciate the good work that the Foundation does to advance conservation in our community.

What Your Support Means

Since 1968, the Foundation, as a group of dedicated volunteers, has been working on your behalf in the areas of environmental education, acquisition and preservation of environmentally sensitive land, re-forestation and woodlot management and the safeguarding of streams, rivers, ponds, marshes and lakes in our watershed community. Together, we are working to protect our precious watershed.

The Conservation Foundation relies on donations from our Business Partners, gifts and bequests of land and money and fund-raising events that are often for specific projects. For those of you who are unable to attend events, there is no other opportunity for you to provide your much-needed financial support.

That is why I am encouraging you to become a Conservation Supporter. As a Conservation Supporter you will have the opportunity, each year, to lend your financial support to the work of your Conservation Foundation.

Yes! I Want to Become a Conservation Supporter

I fully realize the growing financial pressure on all of us, so we have created three gift categories and trust that everyone interested will be able to contribute. Charitable gifts of $10.00 or more will be acknowledged with a charitable tax receipt.

Please complete this form and print and return it along with your financial gift and mail it to the Otonabee Conservation Foundation, 250 Milroy Drive, Peterborough, K9H 7M9. Should you have any questions about making a donation to the Conservation Foundation or the programs your donation will support, please contact Kathy Reid (Secretary) or Denyse Sanderson (Treasurer) at 705-745-5791.
Thanking you in advance for your gift...
